NHES held its much-anticipated Senior Prize Night on 5th July, an evening filled with pride, inspiration, and recognition of outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements.
The event took place in the presence of distinguished guests, Mr. Ujjal Chakraborti, executive in-charge, Tinplate division,Tata Steel Ltd, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Mr.Nakul Kamani, President, Narbheram Hansraj English School, Mr. Debang Gandhi, Mr. Chandrakant Zatakiya, Mr. Paresh Madia, Mr. Dharmesh Panchamia, Mr. Vijay Mehta, Ms. Meena Chandani and other esteemed members of the school managing committee graced the occasion with their presence.
The school auditorium was abuzz with excitement as students, parents, and staff gathered to celebrate the hard work and perseverance of the senior students.

The program began with a solemn invocation and a welcome speech by the Principal, Mrs. Paramita Roy Choudhury. She also took everyone through the annual school report which showed the result of ICSE Examination 2025, the school toppers in the Science stream were Ahana Mandal, who secured 98.4% and was the 8th ranker in the city, and Surya Sekhar Sen, who scored 98.2% and was ranked 9th in the city. Since 2012 the students of NHES have made it to the top ten rankers of the city.
The city toppers are followed by Saket Nandan with 97.6%, Asmita Manna with 97.4%, Akshat Thakur with 97.2%, Srijan Kumar Thakur with 96.6%, Rishi Pandey with 95.8%, Bhushra Akhtar with 95.6%, Nidhi Sharma with 95.6%, and Ayushi Singh with 95.4%.
In the Commerce stream, Sakshi Goel topped the class with 95.8%. She was closely followed by Deeplekha Mandal, who scored 95%, and Aman Sahu, who secured 92.6%.
In the ISC Examination 2025, Vedant Saraswat topped the Science stream with an outstanding score of 99%, securing the 3rd position in the city. He was closely followed by Bartika Kumar, who scored 98.75% and was the 4th ranker in the city. Rajat Sekhar, who scored 98.5% ranked 5th in the city. Other high achievers in the Science stream include Harsh Aryan, Archi Sahai, and Unnati Kumari Patel, each scoring 97.5% and jointly holding the 8th position in the city. Anubhab Sen scored 97.25% and was ranked 9th in the city.Out of 21 students in the TOP Ten City rankers list, a remarkable 7 students is from our school.
In JEE Advanced Vedant Saraswat is the school topper with CRL RANK – 2247. The other notable achievers are Bartika Kumar with CRL RANK – 8187, Anubhab Sen with CRL RANK – 13475 and Rajat Sekhar with CRL RANK – 24404.
She also applauded the students’ efforts and resilience, especially in the face of challenges over the academic year. She highlighted the importance of holistic development and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence.
Awards were presented for academic distinction, leadership and cultural excellence.
In his keynote address, the Chief Guest, lauded the school for nurturing young minds and instilling values that go beyond academics. He urged the students to pursue their dreams with dedication and humility.
Mr. Nakul Kamani, President, Narbheram Hansraj English School, in his address, congratulated the students for their exceptional performance, commending their dedication, discipline, and pursuit of excellence. He expressed his delight at witnessing such talent and encouraged the students to continue striving for success in all spheres of life.
The evening concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the school anthem and national anthem.
